My only negative is that at 3 yrs. of age, my mini Schnauzer will still pee in the house - on plastic or a pee pad even tho’ I invested in a pet storm door which she can use as needed. I don’t know what to do to correct this behavior. HELP!

I lost my boy Yorkie 2 months ago. He had Canine Dementia and had become blind. My husband and I had to make that heartbreaking decision to let him go. One of the worst days of our lives 😢 They are a fantastic breed - they are larger than life. Oh how I miss him 😔

The jumping fearlessly off furniture is a no no and keeping your foodie doxie in line is very important. Our first mini. Frankie, lived 17.5 yrs, ate to live. Our 2nd mini only lived 1 yr and 5 days and was taken out by an owl attack. Daisy was so smart, but lived to eat. We get our 3rd mini soon. All 3 were smooth coats.

I have a very large standard. He was a lounger and can totally run around when it’s play time. Now in his senior years (15 yrs old) he mostly mosey and lounge around the house. even lazy to use the restroom outside. But when I cook he’s gotten very verbal and acts like he’s 2 years old again. I think he’s playing me for a fool.

My dachshund was fearless and unbelievably loyal my brother was going to hit me and suddenly stopped well my dachshund bit my brother in his testicle stopped that fight and he is 6’4” my hero (my brother actually had a lot of respect for him after)

Hubby decided to get another dachshund but failed to walk it, now she is a nightmare on walks barks at dogs & people even from a distance, any advice would be amazing, I gave another but she is the opposite she gets anxious n either hudes behind hubby or if I'm with them she jumps between my feet on my mobility scooter, the new one is 5 months old now n its embarrassing when walking her. Please help 🙏

We now have our 2nd Boston Terrier, Toby. He is one year old and we love him as much as we loved our 1st one, Oreo. He passed away after 11 wonderful years full with love ❤😢... First we thought we never will get another dog.... we won't go thru hell again after the dog have to pass.... But, we missed all the beautiful things with a Boston Terrier in life.... So we decided to enjoy our life with a Bosti again❤❤... even when his time comes, and we will go through hell again...🥺 Life is better with a Boston Terrier ❤❤ Best breed ever ❣️

I grew up with a stubborn miniature dachshund it was my mothers and the house pet growing up since I was 3 she was put down of old age at the age of 16 it's been 22 years know and I still have found memories need another short hair penny was sweet heart and real treat to be around love dachshunds minis.
